I'm a writer and English teacher who believes literature has the power to make the world a better place.

My award winning short fiction has appeared in a variety of literary journals and my novels have been finalists in numerous contests. I teach English composition and literature at Santa Barbara City College.  Prior to teaching, I worked as a journalist for the Los Angeles Times. I have a MA in English literature and BA in journalism. I live and work in Santa Barbara, CA.
